The MHV Female to MHV Female 4Hole Flange Panel Mounted Adapter is designed to be used in the high voltage applications where high voltage, safety and mechanical robustness are required. This Adapter is constructed around the miniature high voltage (MHV) interface and provides a secure through panel connection for two MHV coax lines. The MHV Female connectors are mounted on both sides of the Adapter, allowing the instrument, power supply, detector etc. to be connected. The 4-hole flange allows the Adapter to be bolted to a chassis, rack panel or enclosure. This provides a rigid, low movement mount for the cables and connectors. In many applications, the equipment is subject to movement, i.e. regular removal and reconnection of cables, and also to vibration. The metal body of the Adapter provides excellent shielding against interference and the center contact is of high quality to provide low contact resistance and ensure stable transmission. The flange has a 4 hole bolt pattern and is of a size to fit into standard panel cutouts. This Adapter is ideal for use in high voltage test stations, in laboratory instrumentation and for cable routing in industrial and research equipment. It brings the high voltage connection out to the panel surface, allowing for easy access by technicians and minimizing the risk of cable damage due to strain, within the enclosure. The Adapter is suitable for use in demanding RF and HV environments.
