The 4-hole flange allows the Adapter to be bolted to a chassis, rack panel or enclosure. This provides a rigid, low movement mount for the cables and connectors. In many applications, the equipment is subject to movement, i.e. regular removal and reconnection of cables, and also to vibration. The metal body of the Adapter provides excellent shielding against interference and the center contact is of high quality to provide low contact resistance and ensure stable transmission.
